Hi, I’m Louise, mother of two, wife to an amazing husband, lover of movement, and founder of RISE.
After three years of self-practicing Pilates, challenging myself physically and mentally through this joyful, mindful movement – I decided to inspire others to do the same.
There is no better feeling than taking the time to do something for yourself and Rise Pilates is my opportunity to create an inclusive space where everyone has a place in the room.
My passion for evidence-based Pilates is something that grows every day and I want to share this experience with individuals of all abilities so that they too can feel the magic of movement.

With a long history of sporadic exercise but a yearning to find movement in a form that I loved, I began my Pilates journey at Rise in September 2021 - and it was life changing! Just 6 weeks later I had enrolled to become a certified Pilates instructor. I wanted to deepend my personal practice and knowledge and share it with others.
My passion is combining my loves of Pilates and evidence-based teaching to facilitate people finding the joy of movement no matter what stage of life they are in.

Hello I’m Bec a mother of 3 kids and 2 dogs, wife, teacher and a lover of movement.
I have been a Physical Education teacher for 10 years and always loved exercise, whether that was gym, netball, walking or running. I found Pilates about 3 years ago as I was looking for something different to compliment Netball and strengthen my body to help reduce injuries particularly after having my 2nd baby. I fell in love with Pilates, the way it made me feel afterwards, the muscles strength and endurance I gained was so different to any other workout. Pilates was my happy place to switch off for an hr and just move, challenge myself or even just be in silent. I continued Pilates throughout my whole 3rd pregnancy and post as well. I started the Breathe course for my own personal practice hoping to gain more knowledge around Pilates and empower others to do the same. Pilates is accepting space of everybody, no matter what shape or experience you have come from Pilates can cater to the needs of everyone. My passion is to empower movement in a safe space and ensure everyone feels welcome and confident in their own body to grow and move.
